Ivins City Council meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays at 5:30pm of each month (Planning Commission meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays at 5:30pm). The agenda for each meeting is available on the Ivins City website: www.ivinsutah.gov. Or you can e-mail Kari Jimenez (City Recorder) at kjimenez@ivinsutah.gov and request your name and e-mail be added to the city council agenda e-mail list.
Not all council meetings include public comment, however before a legislative decision can be made by the city council, a public hearing must be held and this is when city council really needs to hear from residents. If you are unable to attend a city council meeting in person the city does offer the opportunity to watch the meeting via live video and video feed.
Zoom participation is also made available particularly for public hearings. Detailed viewing information is stated on every city council meeting agenda.
